- Conferences
When the Department of Premier & Cabinet for Queensland made the bold decision to get rid of paper and provide each of their VIP delegates with an iPad at their 2015 North Queensland Economic Summit in tropical Cairns, they selected Hire Intelligence as their solutions provider. This event demanded custom artwork and the installation of dedicated event app's across 180 iPads.
In order to fulfill this, a custom image was built in Sydney and distributed to the client. App designers were brought on from Brisbane for testing. Upon approval, Apple's configurator software was utilised to reimage the allocated iPads, which were also equipped with the venue’s unique Wi-Fi security settings. The roll-out of this re-imaging event coincided with a new Apple iOS release, which demanded that the fleet was also upgraded during the process. Our Technical Team worked through to midnight on two consecutive nights to ensure that the freight deadline was met. The iPad’s arrived in Cairns on time, unpacked and prepped for distribution to the delegates.
